About Bedford College
Established in 1944, Bedford College was initially funded by a small grant provided by the Baptist Union of NSW. The main purpose of the College was to provide training to support the country’s dwindling workforce caused as a result of the menfolk going away to serve in the 2nd World War.
Bedford College is a not-for-profit Registered Training Organisation and whilst the College has a Christian ethos, enrolled students come from a wide variety of races, religions, cultures and beliefs. An open access and equity policy governs the enrolment practices and the College is committed to inclusiveness and mutual respect for all individuals.
