Additional/Incidental Costs

Textbooks

The approximate cost of textbooks for diploma courses in both business and children's services is $500 - $600. The cost of texts for shorter courses may be a little less than this.

Consumables

Consumable items include: student diary, folders, and stationery items and locker hire. Consumable cost is approximately $75.

Uniforms

Children's Services students are required to wear a polo shirt and jacket when at College and on Practicum Placement. The approximate cost is $90.

Business students wear their own business attire.

Excursions/Field Trips

Students in all courses attend a number of excursions throughout the course. The cost of excursions vary but are approximately $25.

Scholarships for study in 2011

A total of three scholarships (one in each - Accounting, Business & Child Care) are available for study in 2011. Each will cover half of the tuition costs for the 2011 academic year. A Scholarship Application Form can be downloaded from the Downloads tab on this website.
