Enrolment
Enrolment is for the normal expected period of vocational training offered by the College, that is, the full period of the course in which you have been enrolled.
Attendance and Absence
The student is expected to attend and be punctual for the entire duration of the course.
Ninety percent attendance is expected. Failure to maintain satisfactory attendance may be detrimental the course outcome.
Dress
Business students are required to dress appropriately for a business environment. 'Mufti Days' are held each Friday, when neat, casual attire may be worn.
Child Care students wear a royal blue polo shirt (supplied at College), black trousers and black closed-in shoes.
Fees
Fees are due and payable for the full course but may be paid in instalments. Payment of fees is due within seven days of receipt of invoice.
Textbooks & Consumables
The cost of textbooks and stationery will be charged to your student account and become payable on the date noted on the invoice/statement.
Expulsion
The College reserves the right to expel any student who is in breach of any of the College Rules and Regulations.
Refund & Cancellation Policy
All cancellations MUST be notified in writing and will be acknowledged in writing. The College agrees to refund within 28 days of receipt of written notice of cancellation by the student (or parent/guardian if student is under 18 years), tuition fees paid by or on behalf of the student less amounts charged as outlined below:
Cancellation Before Commencement:
- If enrolment is cancelled 28 days or more prior to the proposed commencement date, the Enrolment Fee is retained by the College ($250). Any tuition fees paid will be refunded.
- If an enrolment is cancelled less than 28 days prior to the commencement date, the College retains the Enrolment Fee and a cancellation fee equivalent to 100% of the first term tuition fee is retained by (or due to) the College.
Cancellation on or after the commencement date:
If enrolment is cancelled after the program has commenced, the fee for the full amount of the course is retained by (or due to) the College.
Agreement
In signing this Application for Enrolment Form, you agree that:
- You have read and understood the Terms and Conditions of Enrolment and the Curriculum for the course;
- you will abide by the Rules and Regulations of the College;
- you have the financial capacity to meet tuition fees, and agree to pay fees as they become due;
- the College has permission to pass any relevant information concerning academic results and progress to parents/guardians and employers/human resource departments;
- the College has permission to use any photographic image in which you may appear on marketing and advertising materials; and
- the information provided in the Application for Enrolment and any accompanying documents is correct.
- Bedford Business College is obliged by statute to keep confidential student records on file for administrative purpose only.
