Bedford students are encouraged to become involved in the extracurricular activities available at the College; this builds confidence, encourages teamwork and gives students a strong sense of achievement and beloning.
Elected each year by the student body at both the Glebe and Norwest Campus, the SRC is responsible
for arranging many of the extracurricular activities including: the College Formal, Theatre Paries,
Dance Nights, Barbecues, Pizza Days and the College Yearbook.
The SRC is also reponsible for organising community fund-faising events including: Shave Your Head
for a Cause, Jeans for Genes Day, Banadanna Day, Red Nose Day, Banages Bear Appeal, The Biggest
Morning Tea and Harmony Day.
Harmony week is all about celebrating the amazing cultures that make up our country. Iit's about
inclusiveness, respect and a sense of belonging for everyone.
Table tennis is available in the Student Common Room at our Norwest Campus. Many students find that a
friendly game of table tennis is a great way to relax and unwind during class breaks. And some
students are involved in ongoing table tennis competitions. It's rare occasion when visiting the
Common Room when there is not a table tennis game in progress.
Whenever possible we endeavour to take our student on excursions that relate to their field of study.
Excursions provides another dimension to class vassed learning and helps reinforce what has been
taught in the classroom.
