Our Baptist Connections
Due to our establishment by the Baptist Union of NSW (Baptist Association of NSW & ACT) in 1943, we have built up a natural connection with many of the Baptist affiliated organisations in NSW and Australia.
These organisations include BaptistCare NSW/ACT, Baptist Financial Services, and Baptist World Aid Australia.
We have also built relationships with individual church congregations and their affiliated social services and community outreach arms, as well as the schools founded by these congregations.
We are proud of our Baptist heritage, and we are continually blessed by the ways in which our affiliated organisations in the Baptist movement work together to achieve common goals. The College is always looking to strengthen these connections.
We have made similar connections with other likeminded Christian and community organisations over the years. These connections continue to grow.

Why would you partner with Bedford?
Over the years, companies and other organisations have partnered with us to assist with their employment needs. The hiring managers or human resources teams are then able to contact the College whenever they are on the lookout for practically trained staff.
If the hiring manager is happy with our potential candidates, the appropriate students are then able to apply to be interviewed for the paid positions or work placements with the ‘Industry Partner’.
There is no obligation to take on our students during this process, we are just very appreciative of the fact you have considered them. We do not charge for this service; it is totally free. Often, companies and organisations are thankful for their relationship with Bedford as they can dispel the need for job advertisements and recruitment firms, as well as the long wait for people to apply for positions in general. Hence, we are a good option when it comes to recruiting staff.
As a not-for-profit organisation and charity, we truly appreciate your support, and that support will not go unnoticed. All ‘Industry Partners’ receive a ‘Certificate of Appreciation’ and will be invited along to our events. Industry Partners are also welcomed to advise us of what we should be teaching in order to meet the needs of their workplaces.
