From time-to-time, Bedford offer limited fee-free places for units of study and qualifications. Visit the Smart and Skilled page to keep up-to-date with the latest fee-free training provided by Bedford.
Scholarships* may be available to domestic students as a reduction in fees distributed evenly across the duration of their course of study. Selection will be determined on the basis of the student's application/personal statement, fulfilment of the equity requirements of the scholarship and, if required, an interview.
*Excludes students who are eligible for Smart & Skilled or other funding.
*Not available for international students.
Domestic students may be eligible for a VET student loan for Diploma courses where you will incur a VETSL debt that is due to the Commonwealth until it is repaid.
Students may be eligible for the VET student loans scheme if they meet the eligibility criterion. This will enable them to borrow to a certain threshold, depending on the course.
Bedford also offers study loans that can provide finance for students seeking assistance in payment for their tertiary education. This will include a simple intertest-free payment plan to suit your needs. Weekly, Fortnightly, Monthly or Term payments can be made by Direct Debit into our bank either through either your bank account or your credit card.
The student/feepayer may complete a Direct Debit Authorisation form which will operate until the College receives the full amount of the cost of the course. A completed Direct Debit Authorisation form must be submitted to the College on Orientation Day.
Note: Fees paid by Direct Debit must be paid at least 1 month (4 weeks) in advance. The Direct Debit option does not incur any additional fees or charges to the student/fee payer unless the direct debit is returned unpaid, in which case a bank fee will be added.
All face-to-face courses offered at Bedford College are also able to be completed in an online mode of delivery. This will entail completing all course content in a self-paced manner, ideal for prospective students who partake in other commitments such as work and family life in conjunction with their studies.
Each course is structured slightly differently, with both online and on-campus learning options available. For a specific course outline, including how many hours of practicum are required, visit the courses page.
We value flexibility, which is why we offer part time and full time options for study.
We offer on-campus and online modes of delivery. For face-to-face classes, we have a campus in Norwest and in the Sydney CBD.
