In 2021, we’re pleased to offer a Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing, Disability and/or Home Care).
This qualification reflects the role of workers in the community and/or residential setting who follow an individualised plan to provide person-centred support to people who may require support due to ageing, disability or some other reason.
Work involves using discretion and judgement in relation to individual support as well as taking responsibility for own outputs. Workers have a range of factual, technical and procedural knowledge, as well as some theoretical knowledge of the concepts and practices required to provide person-centred support.
This course has been carefully selected to respond to the very high demand in the marketplace for skilled workers who are equipped to support the elderly, those with special needs, and others requiring tailored support. This course is a great choice if you’re looking to get employed quickly in a field where you can make a difference.
Students can choose one, two or three specialisations (ageing, disability and/or home care) to tailor a course that best matches your interests and career goals.
