Dual Diploma of Business & Diploma of Leadership and Management
The Dual Diploma is one of our leadership courses offered at Bedford, enabling you to excel in leadership and management as a highly skilled business savvy professional.
Our nationally recognised leadership courses offer leadership training in business administration, with the Dual Diploma specifically designed to help you excel as a valuable leader in any organisation.
This course is available to domestic students only.
Qualification
Leadership Courses
BSB50120 Diploma of Business and the BSB50420 Diploma of Leadership and Management.
- 12 month duration
- Part-time study available for Domestic students
Modes of delivery
Domestic students:
- Online: Students are provided with a training plan that sets out a course structure for students to follow at their own pace
- Face-to-face: Students attend college as per the class timetable set out for the course
Entry requirements
Domestic students:
- Successful completion of Year 10 (or equivalent)
- No ATAR is required
- Applicants undertake a Language Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) assessment for the College to determine the level of assistance needed to support the student.

A nationally accredited leadership course specialising in leadership and management training, the Dual Diploma will equip and empower students to thrive in the business world. Our quality leadership training will enable students to learn valuable skills with the potential to fulfil roles in management, small business, HR, marketing and more.
Work placement
Bedford supports students to source a one-week unpaid course related work placement.
Students studying our business courses are provided the opportunity to apply for a work placement with one of our reputable industry partners, with many students going on to secure employment offers upon graduation.
University pathways
Some of our graduates choose to undertake further study upon completion of their Dual Diploma.
Bedford College have arrangements with high-ranking universities to provide articulation pathways (with credit) towards Bachelor degree programs. As the formal agreements are subject to periodic change, it is best to contact us directly for the most up-to-date information.

There are 12 units in the Diploma of Business and 12 units in the Diploma of Leadership and Management. By completing the units that are common to both courses and some additional units, students will satisfy the criteria to receive a Dual Diploma.
